Jaipur: While protests are still continuing over the suicide of University of Hyderabad (UoH) Ph.D Student Rohit Vemula, another student of Rajasthan Central University committed suicide on Friday(06th February).
The perished, identified as Mohit Kumar Chauhan, was a PhD scholar of Central University of Rajasthan. A native of Uttar Pradesh, he was pursuing his PhD in Mathematics from the University. On Friday night, he did not react to his friend's phone call for dinner. A group of his friends then went to his hostel room, they have noticed him hanging from the ceiling.
The University vice chancellor AK Pujari said, doctors declared Mohit as brought dead when they rushed him to the hospital. He denied, Mohit having any problems either with the professors or with him.
